Engines OTR Finance Internship (m/f)

This role’s key responsibilities cover the support to order intake and OTR revenue and margin analytics as well as cash collections for all new equipment projects within the reciprocating engines business part of Distributed Power organization in the P&W segment.
This position will provide analytical support on all project analytics throughout the order execution cycle and the cash collections to maintain full visibility on the key financial metrics.
These task specifically include:
Gathering and consolidation of all project relevant data for all new units deals within the GE Reciprocating Engines
Variance evaluation and the related financial impact
Forecasting activities and report-out preparation
Audit activities and process documentation
Support in ad hoc financial analyses to the OTR & Controllership Teams
This role reports to the reciprocating engines OTR Finance Leader
University Business or related Bachelor’s Degree with first work experience and/or completed internship
Affinity to finance and project management
Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills
Professional working style and interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Fluency in German and English languages
Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams & across multiple time zones
Work location is Jenbach, Austria
A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
According to Austrian law job postings need to include the minimum salary for a position. For this position the minimum salary based on the collective agreement is EURO 1917.18 gross monthly. Please note that this is the very minimum salary and will most likely be higher. The effective salary is based on the candidate’s Qualification and Experience and will be negotiated accordingly.
