KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

As System Integration Consultant you are responsible for managing the long term relationships to our international System Partners who integrate our wide variety of products into their own software. See our website www.orderman.com for details on the products.

You will be responsible for:

  • … supporting our sales team by providing first technical insights on our products API’s to enable the partners to make effort estimations when integrating our products into their solutions.

  • … conducting individual trainings for the partner’s development staff at the partner’s premises or in small groups of software developers at an NCR office, teaching them how to integrate the desired product.

  • … manage the integration project by advising the partner’s development team on best practices for mobile applications, how to design the user interface for mobile applications and best use of our products in the desired use case. This may include supporting them with active development.

  • … putting together training materials such as integration manuals, SDKs, samples and how-to for our system partners.

  • … answering questions from the partner’s development staff that arise during the integration project, during rollout and the lifecycle of an installation. You will provide support via email, phone and on site to system partners, channel dealers, the NCR customer helpdesk and customers.

  • … forwarding feature requests and issue reports to responsible development teams in order to track and resolve incoming customer issues. You will collect all needed information for analysis. You will follow up with the teams to provide results as needed by the customer.

  • … working with field support personnel to analyze and document problems, identifying solutions and following standard procedures to release these solutions.

  • … working with customers, Product Managers, Project Managers, other internal or external decision makers, services and support departments to understand business requirements for new features and new products for future releases.

  • … supporting the process of development for new products by giving input, advising, evaluation and active development to provide future solutions.

  • … developing tools and methodologies for analyzing field problems.

  • … developing applications for marketing, manufacturing and other purposes.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English

  • 5 years of professional experience in a higher object oriented programming language, for example C , C# or Java

  • Willingness to work in projects in which unknown programming languages are used

  • Willing to travel

  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and physical device interfaces

  • Ability to work effective in a team structure

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Understanding of real-time operating systems; Understanding of embedded systems; Understanding of software development processes and techniques; Understanding of software design methodologies and tools

  • Experience, certification, training or skills in operating systems, networks, development environments, software design, coding and testing, and programming languages

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in spoken and written French and / or Spanish

  • Experience working for or with a hospitality company

  • Experience in working with our products Annual base salary: EUR 61,200
