The Job

This position will provide professional service, market information, and foreign exchange expertise to our corporate clients. This position will be responsible for customer retention, monitoring market information, applying sales skills to develop and grow our client base and providing warm leads to sales team.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

· Review reported economic and financial data and act as the primary branch / client source of foreign exchange market knowledge, information, and expertise

· Demonstrate knowledge of the foreign exchange market to provide relevant market information to clients

· Establish, secure, and manage relationships with existing and potential clients

· Meet/exceed client revenue targets

· Handle incoming phone calls and provide clients with exchange rates

· Promote and cross sell Western Union Business Solutions foreign exchange products and solutions

· Complete sales process with a proactive behaviour with clients signed up (first trades)

· Process deals in the appropriate Western Union Business Solutions Trading Platform; ensure settlement of all booked transactions is accurately entered

· Manage and cultivate client loyalty through proactive phone calls and responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring customer loyalty and retention programs are followed

· Identify hedging methods and sources that clients can use to implement foreign exchange strategies

· Monitor account performance and activity for own portfolio and forecast client revenue

· Solicit customer feedback and communicate internally

· Demonstrate sound understanding of Western Union Business Solutions on-line payment solutions and related technology in order to effectively support clients

· Migration of clients from phone, fax and other platforms to online where appropriate

· Build and maintain strong internal relationships with the Business Development team

· Provide administrative and operational support to the branch operations as required

· Comprehend and adhere to compliance obligations, company risk management, Anti-Money Laundering and all company policies

· Demonstrate commitment to continuing education and knowledge of Western Union Business Solutions products and services, as well as the foreign exchange industry in general
