We are looking for a Senior Compliance Specialistto be based in our Western Union International Bank (WUIB) headquarter in Vienna!The successful candidate will form part of a close and highly energetic team, and willprimarily be responsible for the day to day BAU Compliance topics as well as related headquarter activities, supporting the AML/CFT & Market (incl. MiFID) Compliance organization of the Global Payments (WUBS) business division at Western Union International Bank (WUIB) Austria and Germany as well as at WUBS Ruesch International Switzerland, focusing on international FX payment services for SMEs and corporates, including hedging of FX currency risks with complex financial instruments (FX Forwards & Options/ Derivatives).

The successful candidate will undertake second line of defence reviews for primarily Markets- but also AML/FC Compliance (e.g. answer questions from GTM and other internal customers and provide input and/or training, execute regular controls and reviews, provide input to related Audit and Compliance requests, prepare various regular reports, keep Personal Account Trading and training oversight).

In addition, this person needs to handle incoming FIU requests, maintain policies and procedures and serve as a central point of contact for the three countries.

Excellent relationship management skills

Good written and verbal communications skills, including formal presentation skills

Ability to execute “business as usual” tasks independently and accurately with a comprehensive view

Expertise in AML/CFT as well as MiFID related Compliance subject matters

Affinity to structured and risk based processes

Good problem solving and organisational skills

Hands on attitude

Must be fluent in German and English
