Aftermarket Sales Supportfor Components (f/m)

Sandvik Mining has an exciting opportunity for an experienced after-market professional to support Sales Areas to implement Mechanical Cutting specific aftermarket Component strategies for competitive parts & service offering and to grow market share. This role will be responsible to analyse the market share and drive parts & services portfolio sales & strategies. The position will be based in Zeltweg, Austria.

Key Performance areas

  • Match best aftermarket portfolio offering with each customer opportunity (portfolio selection & pricing strategies)

  • Support Sales Areas with the introduction of new products into market

  • Identify strategic aftermarket sales opportunities and support in the mapping of market share

  • Coordinate global component sales, inventory planning and forecasting, value creation and dialogue

  • Work with Sales Areas to develop the component business in key countries

  • Portfolio management components & component kits

  • Keep up to date of competitor product development and product performance

  • Provide relevant sales and support training on the product range

  • Proactively drive safety as a business advantage

  • One of key contacts for the Parts & Services Sales Representatives within different sales areas

Your profile

  • Apprenticeship / HTL / FH / UNI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of experience with mining and construction sector respectively

  • Detailed knowledge of the aftermarket business and a sound commercial understanding

  • Strong communication skills- mastery of conversational and technical English

  • Good PC user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • International travel will be required for this role(up to 20%)

  • Adaptability and open mind in dealing with customers in different cultures

  • High motivation and willingness to perform
