Oracle University’s aim is to ensure that Oracle’s customers, partners and
employees are educated to a high standard on Oracle products and
technologies. We offer a variety of training methods: Instructor led,
Training on Demand, Live Virtual Classroom and Bespoke User Adoption
Services. We have more than 1,300 Instructor-led courses and continue to
produce a new course each day. We train more than 300,000 students per year
globally and we support 24 languages.
We now have the opportunity for a
recognised strong sales leader to join the EMEA OU Senior Management team,
with responsibility for achieving sales targets and growth within the North/DECH
region (Benelux, Nordics, Germany and Switzerland). The role will be based in
Benelux or Austria.

strategy and business model within the region.

Achieve targets and grow OU Business in theregion ensuring Sales and business development are accomplished withincorporate guidelines
To develop and manage the quality andprocesses within Oracle University to ensure continuous improvement
To manage and lead Oracle University salesteam, direct and indirect resources
Reportsto EMEA VP - Oracle University
Leadsfield based OU Sales teams
Co-operatesclosely with EMEA functional team
Responsibilityfor the OU business within the regions
Responsibilityfor Budgeting an Finance Planning
ImplementingOU-global strategy and ensuring that objectives and targets are met
Developand execute regional team strategies to develop OU business with new andexisting Oracle customers
Improvementof business processes and procedures
Developingplans and budgets and monitor progress against them, taking correctiveaction where appropriate
Analysingthe performance of the OU regional sales team in terms of their businessmeasurements taking corrective action where appropriate
Workingwith regional License Sales to monitor their pipeline to ensure OUproposition is integrated into customer engagement
Developingand implementing global, EMEA and local processes to ensure efficientways of operating and continuous business improvement
Understandinglocal training business and IT Market place

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Order fulfillment and selling of products and services in high volume, low value, short cycle transactions using telephone sales.
Manages a team of telesales managers for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic regional plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts regional sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Working knowledge of telesales job. Through understanding of Oracle
- s products and services. Ability to lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution ability. Degree in Business or Computer Science preferred. 5 - 7 years sales or sales management experience.
