Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a Team member responsible for driving the sale of the Dell EMC services portfolio providing specialist & expert knowledge to the Dell EMC sales teams, reporting directly to the Services Sales Director for the Western-Central Region. The role entails both business development activity with the core sales community by supporting and driving lead generating, services offering awareness, launch events and education as well as direct customer and channel partner engagement.

The DellEMC service's portfolio encompasses the entire services offering during the lifecycle of Dell's products & solutions from consultancy services, deployment and implementtionservices as well as support and asset recovery and recycle services.

Your role will be to:

  • Deliver on-going communication and trainings to Sales teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive message to the customer

  • Act as a subject matter expert on the Dell EMC Services portfolio and engage with the sales organisation to detect opportunities and drive Services sales

  • Engage directly with customers and identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Dell Services

  • Work with Core sales team as well as Client and Enterprise Sales teams to enable sell of Deployment, Implementation and Education services and provide on-going inputs to key bids

  • Be responsible for pro-active territory planning, detection, pipeline management and reporting

  • Keep up to date with current industry trends and fully assess the impact on Dell EMC customers

  • Relay customer feedback to assist with the future development of Dell’s technology, products, and services

    Essential Requirements

  • 5 years selling experience in IT industry

  • Strong track record in complex sales or consultative selling

  • Advanced knowledge of building relationships and assisting sales in developing business solutions

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build confidence with customers

  • Fluency in German and English Language
