Job Introduction

You are about to finish your studies and want to write a practice-oriented master thesis about a variable steering ratio for the early development phase? This topic is about thedevelopment of a device which can generate different steering ratios on Mule or Prototype cars. This device needs to be able to be adapted to various cars and steering systems and the steering ratio should be continuous variable (comparable to a CVT gear box).

Major Responsibilities
  • Design a way to show and let the customer feel different steering ratios
  • Design and validate the device
  • Develop a manual for the derivation of a certain steering gear ratio
Knowledge and Education
  • Master study in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Experience in designing with CATIA V5

The planned duration of the research and writing process is about max. 6 months.
