General Electric Finance Internship – Supply Chain in Jenbach, Austria

In this role you will own the accounting, controlling and reporting of specific key areas within the Supply Chain Finance department. The areas you cover include accounts payable and inventory accounts, and involve high value and high volume transactions. The work is varied, interesting and complex and involves cross-functional tasks within an international team. Job #3085019
Monthly accounts payable accrual analysis and reconciliation (Goods Received Not Invoiced / GRNI). Preparation of the reconciliation to general ledger, aging analysis, drilldown and investigation of specific items to allow resolution or cleaning where necessary. This covers our Austrian HQ, plus international subsidiaries. Involves working with various internal departments and external suppliers
Monthly and quarterly financial inventory close activities for our various stock locations, working with the Inventory Accountant. Oracle ledger bookings and reclasses, financial reserves and adjustments, account reconciliations, reporting
Additional ad-hoc tasks to support the Global Supply Chain Finance team.
Proficiency in English
Solid accounting knowledge and training
Good Excel ability
Willingness to learn and solve problems
Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
Ideally Oracle knowledge or familiarity with other ERP tools
Familiarity with manufacturing companies is an advantage
